I live in a big city, one of those so crowded with noise, smoke and people that you cannot think without bumping into somebody else’s thoughtosphere….
I cook. Basic food, that I dream up while standing at the vegetable stand, or in a grocery store. The grime and noise in these fuels my food as much as the pesticides that course through its veins, poison its DNA. And in time, mine as well.
I am vegetarian. Passionately so.
This is a food blog, my style. Which means, it ain’t gourmet, it ain’t about fine dining, and it ain’t about explosive recipes. It’s about basic, heart-n-soul, food. And my relationship with it and the processes and relationships and politics that cluster around each plate we put on the table, each grain we put in our mouth.
